EIT Open Day on March 27, focused on EIT Infrabooster

The second EIT Open Day will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. (Science-Technology Park of Montenegro, Podgorica, Birziminium Hall). One of the important current programs, EIT Infrabooster, will be presented. Attention will also be drawn to other opportunities within the nine thematic EIT KICs.

This type of meeting is designed to be interactive, to introduce participants to current opportunities, to address the needs and interests of STP residents and other interested parties. The intention is to help participants better navigate the complex environment of EU support and cooperation programs in the field of innovation, especially within the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), and to find cooperation models that best suit their profile.

What is EIT Infrabooster?
It is a modular training and mentoring program for representatives of scientific or innovation organizations that possess certain research infrastructure (equipment, laboratories, databases) funded by public funds. It offers capacity building and support in designing infrastructure-based services that could be offered to a larger number of users. In this way, cooperation with the business sector is improved, as well as the international visibility and innovativeness of the institution. Creating services based on equipment, data, or other infrastructure helps organizations establish new revenue streams. During the program, participants are trained and guided on how to utilize existing assets: commercially relevant research infrastructure, the skills, and knowledge of their teams. The program also enables obtaining an accredited certificate (EIT Label).

EIT Infrabooster has received funding from the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union, under the Horizon Europe program, which makes it free for selected participants.

Until April 13, the call is open for EIT Infrabooster Practitioner, a module that offers education and mentorship and leads users toward creating concrete services. A prerequisite for entering this level is the completion of the online basic-level training – Infrabooster Foundation.

You can learn about the results of previous Infrabooster cycles in the catalog of services developed through participation in the program.

We invite everyone interested to attend the EIT Open Day on March 27. For individual requests and consultations, please contact the EIT representative in Montenegro, Branka Žižić, at: montenegro@eitcommunity.eu
